Hi :) I'm Sam Alexander and welcome to my Wiki page! Hopefully by telling you a little bit about me, you will be excited to follow or comment on my page.
First, and foremost, I am currently a freshman studying Chemical Engineering here at Penn State! I live in East with my roommate Veronica, and I’m slowly adapting to dorm life… Let’s just say that being an only child doesn’t make a person that great at the whole sharing concept.
I’ve lived in Monroeville, a suburb outside of PITTSBURGH, my whole life, and in my completely biased opinion, it’s one of the best places to live. Yes, I understand that the Pennsylvania weather can be unruly and just plain awful, but I love Pittsburgh and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. What other city can say they have a Superbowl winning football team, a Stanley Cup winning hockey team, and a Dancing with the stars winning hunk!
In high school, I loved staying active. I was on the varsity soccer team for four years and was an active member of our Best Buddies program. At Gateway, we had the opportunity to develop relationships with some of the disabled students in our school. Whether mentally or physically handicapped, these students were always smiling and I learned a great deal from them. Hanging out with them had to be one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. These experiences will be my motivating drive to take part in THON up here in Penn State.
Now, I’m a believer in the idea that a picture speaks a thousand words, so here are some of my favorite snapshots and blurbs to better show you who I am!!
My boyfriend, Tim, and I at Ocean City, MD! We've been together for two years and I love having him here with me at Penn State <3
Julia and I at our senior homecoming. Being in two seperate places is one of the hardest things I had to overcome moving to Penn State.
Four girls I could never live without! I'm so upset we are seperated :/ (Pitt, PSU, Gannon, Emory, and PSU Behrend campus)
My Family!
I'm a sucker for romantics! This picture of a sailor kissing a nurse after Americans won Japan has to be the essence of the perfect romantic moment!
In Loving Memory of Nicholas Conn
God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be, So, he put his arms around you, and whispered "come to me".
With tearful hearts we watched you, and saw you fade away.
Although we love you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, HE ONLY TAKES THE BEST.

On a lighter note :) here are some of my favorite videos of all time! One thing about me you'll learn very quickly is that I love to laugh and I can laugh at everything and ANYTHING... ENJOY :) These are my top three :) While the last one is a little lengthy, it is definately worth, never again will you see Richard Simmons act like a jet ski (see now I hooked ya)
A simple qoute I try to live by:
"At this moment, there are 6 billion, 4 hundred, 71 million, 8 hundred, 18 thousand, 6 hundred, 71 people in the world. Some are running scared.. some are coming home. Some tell lies to make it through the day.. others are just now facing the truth. Some are evil men at war with good, and some are good.. struggling with evil. 6 billion people in the world, 6 billion souls -- and sometimes.. all you need is 1" - One Tree Hill.
